Charissa was born at Seattle Washington, United States on the 4th of May, 1982. ESPN analyst was commissioned to co-host the show by SportsNation in the year 2012. She hosted the ABC program Splash alongside Joey Lawrence. She co-hosted the ABC program Splash with Joey Lawrence.. Thompson was born and was raised in Seattle Washington. As the youngest of her trio of siblings, she was aware the broadcasting career was something she was looking for from an early age. She attended Inglemoor High School in Kenmore Washington. Thompson stated that although Sports Illustrated stated she attended UC Santa Barbara before transferring from UC Santa Barbara to a California Community College, she was not studying in Washington State. Prior to her sports broadcasting career, Thompson was approached by Sports Illustrated offering her to be featured in body paint for a Swimsuit Issue.
